Let Some Things Go was a collaborative project created by twin sisters, Jessica and Rachel Caldas in 2014 at the 9 Ace Gallery in Castleberry Hill, Atlanta. Together the sisters created an immersive art experience exploring themes of loss, whether by choice or by chance, through visual and written language.

Loss is alternatively a complicated and simple idea. We lose some things without even knowing it: our keys, our socks, our youth. Other things we hold on to tightly, and by virtue of that grip, force them away from us or become ridden with anxiety: our time, our energy, our bodies. And still, some things we consciously let go of, recognizing their uselessness, detriment or otherwise, and they pass effortlessly away: our friends, our pride, our vices.
